The condenser can become full of leaves, dirt, and other debris that can make your air conditioner run less efficiently. This means a warmer home and a higher electric bill. Cleaning a dirty or clogged condenser can make a noticeable difference in your home. After cleaning the condenser it’s also good to check your air filter. Again, a clogged filter will cause your air conditioner to run inefficiently. Replacements are inexpensive. If you have pet, kids, or are just in an out of your home a lot you should change your filter more frequently. Finally, turn on your air conditioner and give it a test run. Better to find out you have a problem now than during the first hot days of spring and summer.
