Spring AC Check Up
There are few steps you should take to make sure your air conditioner is ready the first time you turn it on. Your condenser is the part of the air conditioning system that is outside of your home. The condenser can become full of leaves, dirt, and other debris that can make your air conditioner run less efficiently. This means a warmer home and a higher electric bill. Cleaning a dirty or clogged condenser can make a noticeable difference in your home. After cleaning the condenser it’s also good to check your air filter. Again, a clogged filter will cause your air conditioner to run inefficiently. Replacements are inexpensive. If you have pet, kids, or are just in an out of your home a lot you should change your filter more frequently. Finally, turn on your air conditioner and give it a test run. Better to find out you have a problem now than during the first hot days of spring and summer.
