Stand Mixer Grease

If you use your stand mixer, such as a Kitchen Aid mixer, often you may need to change the grease. Heavy use or hard use like kneading dough may wear out the grease. Flour and other ingredients can make its way into the grease, also shortening the grease life. You'll know you need to change your grease if your mixer is louder than when it was new, or if it is hotter than when it was new.
